Keri’s artistic talents were discovered as a child and she began painting when she was 12, with lessons from her Uncle. After finishing high school in Hudson, Massachusetts, she attended and graduated from Framingham State University with a degree in Fine Arts. Since that time, she has continued to develop and hone her painting techniques while also exploring a variety of different approaches and mediums.
Her work has historically focused on the figure, but most recently has focused on landscapes. Regardless of the subject, her work features bold, vibrant color that draws in the viewer. Early on, her work was done primarily in acrylic, but recently has focused on oil paint, leveraging oil sticks and a unique “finger painting” technique to create textures.
She resides in Framingham, Massachusetts with her family and her dog Gertie.
